General Information
Howarth Park is a 152-acre community park located at 630 Summerfield Road in eastern Santa Rosa. The park includes a lake for fishing and boating, a softball field, 6 lighted tennis courts, single and group picnic areas, miles of hiking and jogging trails which connect to the Bay Area Ridge Trail, and an amusement area with a miniature train ride, carousel, animal farm and pony rides.
Operating Hours
Howarth Park is open sunrise to sunset with extended hours for night lighted facilities or groups with an authorized use permit issued by the Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Department.

Spring Weekends (Feb 2-Jun 3) from 11 AM - 5 PM (weather permitting)
Summer Tuesday-Sunday (June 4 - Aug 10) from 11 AM - 5 PM (weather permitting)
Fall Weekends (Aug 11-Oct 26) from 11 AM - 5 PM (weather permitting)
We are also open on Monday, February 18 (President's Day), Tuesday-Friday, March 18-21 (Spring Break), Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day), Friday, July 4 (Independence Day), and Monday, September 1 (Labor Day).
